Call for Papers

The organizing team is happy to announce the call for papers for the upcoming 7th International Conference of Tibeto-Burman Linguistics Association of North East India. The conference will be hosted by the Department of Linguistics at Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam, from 7th to 9th of April, 2027. We invite contributions on any of the following areas, but not limited to, in Tibeto-Burman linguistics.

5. Discourse pragmatics

6. Sociolinguistics

7. Anthropological Linguistics

8. Cognitive Linguistics

9. Historical Linguistics

14. Language Documentation

15. Language Endangerment and Revitalization

16. Field reports

Please submit an abstract of no more than 500 words (excluding data and references, if any). Your abstract should contain the title of your paper, your name and affiliation. Please write your abstract using only Times New Roman, 12pt.
